Introduction

Haiku55 ("we", "us") provides an online AI agent powered by Claude Haiku 5.5. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect when you use haiku55.si, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

1. Account information — your name, email address and profile image when you create an account or sign in with a third-party provider.
2. Conversations — the messages you send and the answers you receive. If you are signed in, your conversations are saved to your account so you can return to them. If you chat as a guest, your conversation is kept only in your browser tab and is not stored on our servers.
3. Guest usage counters — to enforce free daily limits for guests, we store a salted, one-way hash of your IP address together with a daily message count. We do not store guest IP addresses in readable form.
4. Usage and billing records — credit balances, credit usage per message, orders and subscriptions.
5. Technical data — browser type, device information and the IP address used at sign-up, for security and fraud prevention.
6. Cookies and local storage — a session cookie keeps you signed in; we also remember preferences such as language, theme and chat mode.
7. Payment information — payments are processed by third-party providers (such as Stripe). We never receive or store your full card number.

How We Use Your Information

• To generate answers to your messages and operate the agent's tools (web search and page reading).
• To save your conversation history and manage credits, plans and payments.
• To prevent abuse, enforce usage limits and keep the service secure.
• To respond to support requests and send service-related notices.
• To understand aggregate usage and improve the service.

AI Processing by Anthropic

Your messages are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to produce responses. When web search or page reading is enabled, Anthropic performs those searches and page fetches on our behalf. Anthropic processes this data as our service provider under its commercial terms. Please do not share sensitive personal information in your messages unless it is necessary.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Service providers that help us run Haiku55 — including Anthropic (AI model), payment processors, email delivery, hosting and analytics providers — under appropriate confidentiality obligations.
• Authorities, when required by law or to protect our rights, our users or the public.

Data Retention

Saved conversations remain in your account until you delete them; you can delete any conversation from the chat sidebar at any time. Guest usage counters are kept only as long as needed to enforce daily limits. Account and billing records are retained as long as your account is active and as required by law.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and encrypted storage for sensitive configuration. No system is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

Your Rights

You may access, correct, export or delete your personal data. You can delete conversations yourself; for account deletion or other requests, contact us using the details below.

Children

Haiku55 is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you through the service.
